Going back in time for charity with Quadrant

Back to the 1940s with Quadrant

It’s time to get your Jitterbug on at The Quadrant in Braintree, with the fabulous retro evening on 25 November. From 6-9pm, the store will be going back in time for a full on 1940s night, complete with music from Barry Smith and His Silver Bird, a few dance lessons for those who want to learn some fancy forties footwork, and even a chance to win a Tiger Moth flying lesson!

The proceeds from the event will be going to the Chelmsford Star Co-op Charity of the Year, Families InFocus (Essex) and tickets cost just £5.

For 1940s fashion lovers, there will be a fantastic fashion show that showcases a selection of the 40s inspired styles in-store this season, a make-up and hair demonstration from the wonderful Make Do and Mend, and the evening will be topped off with tasters of 1940s style cuisine, so get ready to sample spam and corned beef hash.
